VidModel.AI Terms of Service

Welcome to VidModel.AI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VidModel.AI website, benchmarks, leaderboards, model comparison tools, voting features, content, data, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services.

1. Who We Are

VidModel.AI ("VidModel," "we," "us," or "our") provides independent information, rankings, comparisons, evaluations, and community voting tools related to AI video generation models and related technologies.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Services only if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the Services on behalf of a company, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

The Services are not intended for children under 13 years old, or under the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the Services only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Our Services

VidModel.AI may provide:

  • AI video model leaderboards and rankings;
  • model profiles, comparison pages, summaries, and technical metrics;
  • side-by-side model evaluation or voting experiences;
  • benchmark information, estimated performance data, pricing references, and model availability notes;
  • editorial, educational, or informational content about AI video generation.

Our Services are provided for informational and research purposes. Rankings, scores, estimates, and recommendations may be based on public information, community voting, internal evaluation, third-party sources, automated analysis, or a combination of these methods.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

4. Accounts

Some features may require an account. If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create security risks, or are used in a way that may harm VidModel.AI, other users, or third parties.

5. User Content and Submissions

The Services may allow you to submit, upload, vote on, rate, comment on, or otherwise provide content, including prompts, comparison choices, feedback, text, images, videos, links, model information, or other materials ("User Content").

You retain any rights you have in your User Content. By submitting User Content to the Services, you grant VidModel.AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, modify, analyze, create derivative works from, and use your User Content for operating, improving, promoting, and providing the Services.

You represent and warrant that:

  • you have the rights necessary to submit your User Content;
  • your User Content does not violate any law or third-party right;
  • your User Content does not contain illegal, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or malicious material.

We may remove, restrict, or decline to display User Content at our discretion.

6. AI Model Data, Rankings, and Benchmark Information

VidModel.AI may include information about third-party AI models, providers, products, pricing, licensing terms, availability, technical capabilities, release history, user base estimates, or benchmark performance.

You understand and agree that:

  • model rankings and scores are estimates or evaluations, not guarantees;
  • model availability, pricing, usage rights, and capabilities may change at any time;
  • commercial usage rights for AI-generated content depend on the applicable third-party provider's terms;
  • VidModel.AI does not control third-party AI providers, models, platforms, or outputs;
  • VidModel.AI is not responsible for decisions you make based on information shown through the Services.

You should verify important information directly with the relevant AI model provider before making business, legal, financial, creative, or technical decisions.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Services for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading purposes;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security or operation of the Services;
  • scrape, crawl, copy, harvest, or extract data from the Services except as permitted by us in writing or by a published API or robots policy;
  • use automated systems to manipulate votes, rankings, traffic, engagement metrics, or benchmark results;
  • submit false, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, obscene, hateful, or otherwise harmful content;
  • impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the source code of non-public parts of the Services;
  • bypass rate limits, access controls, authentication systems, or other technical restrictions;
  • use the Services to train, benchmark, or improve competing services in a way that violates these Terms or applicable law;
  • remove, obscure, or alter copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.

We may investigate suspected violations and take action including removing content, limiting access, suspending accounts, blocking traffic, or reporting activity to appropriate authorities.

8. Intellectual Property

The Services, including the website design, software, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, data compilations, rankings, scoring methodologies, page layouts, and other content made available by VidModel.AI, are owned by VidModel.AI or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal, informational, research, or internal business purposes.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, license, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, or exploit any part of the Services without our prior written permission.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may contain links, references, embedded content, data, or information from third-party websites, AI model providers, platforms, APIs, analytics providers, payment processors, hosting providers, or other services.

We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, terms, privacy practices, availability, accuracy, or security. Your use of third-party services is governed by the terms and policies of those third parties.

10. Paid Features, Credits, and Subscriptions

VidModel.AI may offer paid features, subscriptions, credits, premium data access, reports, APIs, or other paid services. If paid services are offered, additional terms may apply at the time of purchase.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • prices are shown before purchase and may change over time;
  • fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by us;
  • subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled;
  • you are responsible for any taxes, duties, or charges associated with your purchase;
  • we may use third-party payment processors and do not store full payment card details ourselves.

11. Feedback

If you provide ideas, suggestions, comments, bug reports, or other feedback about the Services ("Feedback"), you grant us the right to use that Feedback without restriction or compensation to you. We may use Feedback to improve, develop, market, or modify the Services.

12. Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints

If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact us at contact@vidmodel.ai with:

  • your name and contact information;
  • a description of the copyrighted work or protected material;
  • the URL or location of the allegedly infringing content;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized;

We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIDMODEL.AI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND RELIABILITY.

We do not warrant that:

  • the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;
  • rankings, scores, benchmark results, model data, pricing, or availability information will be complete, accurate, current, or suitable for your needs;
  • content generated by, linked from, or associated with third-party AI models will be safe, lawful, non-infringing, or appropriate;
  • defects or errors will be corrected.

The Services do not provide legal, financial, investment, technical, or professional advice.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIDMODEL.AI AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIDMODEL.AI'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO VIDMODEL.AI FOR THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE; OR (B) USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VidModel.AI and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to:

  • your use of the Services;
  • your User Content;
  • your violation of these Terms;
  • your violation of any law or third-party right;
  • your misuse of any third-party AI model, platform, content, or data referenced through the Services.

16. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for us or others, or used the Services in a harmful or unlawful way.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and general provisions.

17. Changes to the Services and Terms

We may update the Services and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice by posting the updated Terms on the website, updating the "Last updated" date, or using other reasonable methods.

Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or by operation of law.
